take a look behind the lens

I have always had a passion for photography, videography, and video editing. As a kid, I would use the family video camera to make movies with my friends. I would edit them in-camera and watch them over and over again. I received my first camera at Christmas at around age 8. It was a blue a Kodak Advantix F330 APS film camera. It had 3 frame size settings. I loved it! I would take it everywhere I went. I remember my parents bringing the film to get developed at the grocery store. It was so fun to see everything I had shot.

Fast forward to high school...I was extremely interested in a program called communication technology. There we learned how to make and edit videos. It was a lot of fun. When I graduated I won the Specialist High Skills Major award for communications and landed an internship at my current job - Suede Productions! I went on to the University of Windsor for Communications, Media, and Film and graduated in 2014.

Currently by day I am a video editor/videographer and by night/weekends I run Wren Photo Lab with my husband Collin!

Collin is an extremely talented wildlife and nature photographer. He's been published by National Geographic's Daily Dozen twice! By day Collin is a passionate nurse, loving father, and dedicated husband.

We live in Windsor-Essex with our 2 daughters. We love to travel and have had the opportunity to photograph beautiful places such as Iceland, Costa Rica, Aruba, Dominican Republic, Ireland, and England! Even though we've got a new babe on the way... we cannot wait to take off on our biggest adventure yet!
